With demographic change, personnel and financial resources are becoming increasingly scarce, particularly in the field of care. We aim to mitigate these issues and create livable, age-appropriate living environments through the use of technology. Our motto is “not to add years to life, but to add life to years.”

We see ourselves – and the technologies we provide – as “lifestyle choice enablers” regarding the large range of assistive technologies currently available, but which are often difficult for older people with little technology affinity and experience to use.

Making the technology used (smart home / AAL) and its benefits for communication with others tangible increases acceptance, safety, and comfort.

Based on these interactions, new, resource-efficient care and service concepts can be created. This efficiency can and should be achieved, for example, by involving relatives and volunteers or by enabling more targeted, punctual deployment of professional care, so that more time is left for people.

Technology should create more human interaction and social integrity in those areas where otherwise coping with situations would not or hardly be possible (especially in one’s own home). We want to enable a caring community that supports each other.
